Scottish bachelor’s degrees take four years (so an International Year One or Year Two saves time), master’s degrees take one year, and Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee and Aberdeen are compact, affordable student cities.

Edinburgh: a capital city with lower living costs than London and a four-year Scottish degree system.
